We ran trails down by the river this past week and when we finished, we weren't drenched in sweat. (Good thing cooler weather is finally here- we have a 10-miler coming up next weekend and a half marathon in December to be training for!).
As soon as the temperature dropped below 80, I bought all new scents for my wax-melter (knock off Scentsy). Hello, pumpkins and apple pies and vanilla spice.
As I write this, all the windows and both doors are open and I'm in a sweatshirt. Between that and the smell of spiced apple pie, there is simply no way to be in a bad mood in my living room right now. The only thing that would make it better is if that apple pie was really in the oven...
Football. I really don't have to say more. Our weekends revolve around it. We save our empty calories all week just for game day. (And we STILL over consume every week!) It was a sad loss for the Fightin' Texas Aggies yesterday, but overall, this season is turning out to be a fun one.
This. Kahler doesn't really do sweets, so it's up to me to take care of all this. ;) ...and for that reason, I try to save it only for special occasions, when I know people are coming over!
1 bag candy corn
1 bag chocolate chips
1 can peanuts
Eat it however you want, but I'm telling you the best way is:
1 candy corn
2 chocolate chips
2 whole (4 halves) peanuts
Happy fall, y'all!
